MSIG’s product-owner advertisement describes collaboration across business specialists, engineering, data, AI/ML and QA. It demonstrates a cross-functional delivery model, not a stated plan to eliminate property reviewers. Employer advertisement. (msigna.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com)
A 14 April 2026 published transcript of The Future of Insurance’s PLRB panel also discussed the risk of automating the entry-level work through which future experts learn. Participants differed on the significance of that risk and how training should change. This is useful practitioner debate, not measured evidence of employment effects; the transcript is hosted by participating vendor Swept AI. Panel transcript and linked video. (swept.ai)
Recommended procurement response: ask an automation supplier to show the future human workload explicitly:
- Which checks disappear, and what evidence supports removing them?
- Which checks remain on every file?
- Which exceptions require an experienced reviewer?
- Who maintains carrier rules and approves changes?
- How will new staff learn to challenge incorrect outputs?
- Does the pilot measure total reviewer effort, including corrections and escalations?
A claims-automation pilot should test whether verification becomes easier, not merely whether draft generation becomes faster.
