What integrations should a property claims production provider support?

Require a demonstrated round trip through your actual estimating and claims environment, including revisions and failure recovery. File-format compatibility or an available API is not proof that the operational hand-off works.

Verisk documents assignment routing and the return of completed estimates through XactAnalysis. Cotality’s support documentation illustrates why configuration details matter: its Claims Estimate-to-DASH troubleshooting addresses assignment linkage, account configuration, ownership release and older assignments that do not synchronise automatically. The DASH example is specific to that integration, not evidence that every Cotality connection behaves the same way. (developerportal.verisk.com)

Use this proposed integration acceptance test:

Test Required demonstration
Identity Correct claim, assignment and property association
Native estimate Editable line items and supported structure survive transfer
Attachments Photographs, notes and documents arrive with a reconciled inventory
Status Delivery and review states map correctly
Revision New versions do not overwrite the accepted record without control
Retry A failed or repeated transfer does not create duplicate work
Ownership The next authorised user can actually open and edit the file
Recovery Failures create an actionable exception, not a false success
Reconciliation Source and destination counts and versions can be compared

Name one operational owner for integration exceptions. Include implementation, monitoring and manual fallback costs in the business case.
